Doctrine of Demons: The Lie of Karma (Replay)

While Grant and Kat each enjoy a few weeks of summer vacation, we're bringing you some of our past favorite episodes!

Whether you're new to the podcast or have been with us from the start, we hope you love revisiting these classics, and we look forward to being back in August with all-new episodes!

020 Doctrine of Demons (Part 1): The Lie of Karma

The statement “I’m getting what I deserve” often comes from a place of shame, condemnation, or a distorted view of God’s justice. It assumes that pain, failure, or hardship are forms of divine punishment - or that we can somehow earn blessing and favor through our own effort. At its core, this lie partners with a demonic doctrine often referred to as karma.

In this episode of Everyday Exorcist, Grant and Kat kick off a new series on the core lies believers often agree with - lies that can open doors to demonic attachment and oppression. They unpack the power of agreement, reminding us that whatever we agree with, we empower.

God’s goodness is far greater than we realize, and freedom begins when we change the way we think, repent of false beliefs, and break agreement with the lies that keep us bound.

This heartfelt conversation invites listeners to honestly ask: Am I partnering with the lie that I’m getting what I deserve? and to step into the full freedom and identity we have as sons and daughters of God.
